Garage door block repair. Lebanon P.A.

At this location in Lebanon there was a garage door that was no longer needed. After the door was removed the first step was to take out the small block pieces on either side of the door opening. This is know as “toothing out”. This is an important step to make sure the block over lap thus eliminating a long vertical join. It is important to do this because, a long vertical joint has a tendency to crack. Once the wall was toothed out all that was left to do was lay block to close off the opening. The joints were struck and the wall is ready to be painted. This block masonry job is located in Lebanon P.A.
