Brick Mailbox Column. Lebanon County P.A.

On this job we have a Brick Mailbox column that was damaged beyond repair by a vehicle impact. When I got on site to quote the project the entire thing was dislodged from it’s base and it was laying on it’s side. So, this was a complete rebuild from the ground up. The only part of the origional mailbox column the was able to be reused was the plate with the numbers on it.

Often when trying to match the materials that were used it can be a challenge. The origional Brick Column was built 20 years ago. Luckily these brick were still available. Sometimes Brick manufatcurers will discontinue a specific line of brick and then you’re just out of luck. All you can do is try to find something close and sometimes you can’t even do that.

This Brick Mailbox column is square with a recessed panel facing the road. It has a rounded top and a grapevine mortar joint. This Brick job is located in Fredricksburg in Lebanon County
